What the catalog tells us
These counts describe the available data, not a quality score. More features do not automatically make a better device.
Consider your setup
Confirm which features appear in Apple Home and whether extra hardware or a subscription is needed for your intended use.
Inspect the specificationsConsider your setup
Confirm the exact device type and the features exposed in your chosen platform. Protocol support does not establish feature parity across apps.
Inspect the specificationsYour priorities, side by side
Mark the specifications you care about. Open manufacturer sources for verification scope; fields without citations remain catalog data. Expand notes for other qualifications.

Neither the knowledge base feature list nor the RGBCCT component API documents any pre-programmed lighting effect. What the bulb offers instead is night mode plus user-built schedules and scripts.
The RGBCCT component exposes an initial_state setting with off, on and restore_last as its allowed values, so the bulb can be told to come back the way it was left.
Amazon Alexa supported capabilities listed as supported by the manufacturer
Shelly documents Amazon Alexa, Google Smart Home, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant for this bulb and no Apple path, and the bulb is not Matter certified, so it cannot reach the Home app that way either.

The knowledge base specification lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as the only radios and never mentions Matter, the CSA certified product database lists no Shelly bulb among the Shelly Europe entries, and Shelly's own forum stated in April 2026 that both Gen3 bulbs ship without Matter support.
