Z-Wave 700 series with Z-Wave Long Range (version 2.0 of the ZAC36), S2 Authenticated security and SmartStart. It controls remotely only through a Z-Wave hub, and the wired leak probe works with no hub at all.
Closes automatically when a paired Z-Wave leak sensor reports water, through the hub's automations.
Moen lists Amazon Alexa among the Flo Shutoff integrations, through its cloud account link (the same Alexa link the Ring integration relies on).
Zooz says Alexa speakers have no Z-Wave radio and reach Z-Wave devices through a compatible hub such as SmartThings or Hubitat.
Zooz says Google speakers have no Z-Wave radio and reach Z-Wave devices through a compatible hub such as SmartThings or Hubitat.
Official Home Assistant Flo integration (cloud polling): valve switch, flow rate, pressure, temperature, consumption and alerts.
The Z-Wave JS device database lists the ZAC36 (Zooz Titan Water Valve Actuator) and Zooz lists Home Assistant among its compatible hubs.
Zooz lists SmartThings as a compatible hub and publishes an Edge driver for the ZAC36.
Discrete sensors measure flow rate, pressure and temperature every second.
Sends a Freeze Warning when the water inside the valve drops to 36°F.
A built-in temperature sensor (-40 to 257 F) can trigger custom alerts and automations when temperatures drop near freezing.
Runs a daily MicroLeak test with the valve closed that detects leaks as small as one drop per minute.
FloSense runs on the device: without internet it keeps its latest learning locally and still shuts off the water when a leak threshold is met (Local Mode), with no alerts or remote control until it reconnects.
The included wired leak probe closes the valve even if the hub or all wireless communication is down, so it works as a standalone leak stop.
Includes a 4.75 ft wired water probe on a 3.5 mm input, extendable with a headphone-type extension cable. After a leak the valve stays closed until you press the button.
The optional Moen Flo Battery Kit (920-008) keeps the shutoff running for up to 4 hours during a power outage; it plugs in between the valve and its AC adapter.
Zooz sells an optional backup battery pack (smart power bank) that keeps the Titan powered during an outage and shuts the valve off before the battery runs dry.
Runs on the included 12 VDC AC adapter (100-240 VAC) with a 10 ft cable; 25 ft extension cables are sold separately.
Runs on the included 12 V DC, 1 A power supply (ETL certified) with a 9.5 ft cord. If power is lost the actuator stays in its last position.
Zooz states 6 N·m, and says it stress-tested the actuator for more than 20,000 actions at 8 N·m of resistance. A normal valve needs about 1.5 to 3.5 N·m.
Sold as 900-001 (3/4"), 900-006 (1") and 900-002 (1-1/4"), each with NPT threaded tailpieces.
Quarter-turn ball valves only, not gate valves or 180 degree valves, and not CPVC pipe. It needs 3 in of clearance each side of the valve center, 1.25 in between the handle and the pipe and 1 in between the pipe and the wall.
The automatic MicroLeak test closes the valve at least once a day and reopens it, so the valve is cycled daily.
Check-in mode turns the valve about 1/8 of a turn on a schedule you set with the Auto Test parameter (every 30 days, for example) to confirm it still moves.

The table matches specifications by section and field. It preserves notes, separates missing data from explicit “No” values, and keeps qualifications attached to their values. No overall winner is assigned from feature counts.
