Before you buy

You need a Thread border router, such as a HomePod mini, some Apple TV, Google Nest or Amazon Echo models, or a hub with Thread support.
Most Thread devices are added as Matter devices. Older Thread devices may only support Apple Home.
Several border routers from different brands can share one Thread network only when they support credential sharing.
